Search Engine Optimization is a process of choosing the most appropriate targeted keyword phrases related to your site and ensuring that this ranks your site highly in search engines so that when someone searches for specific phrases it returns your site on tops. It basically involves fine tuning the content of your site along with the HTML and Meta tags and also involves appropriate link building process. The most popular search engines are Google, Yahoo, MSN Search, AOL and Ask Jeeves. Search engines keep their methods and ranking algorithms secret, to get credit for finding the most valuable search-results and to deter spam pages from clogging those results. A search engine may use hundreds of factors while ranking the listings where the factors themselves and the weight each carries may change continually. Algorithms can differ so widely that a webpage that ranks #1 in a particular search engine could rank #200 in another search engine. New sites need not be "submitted" to search engines to be listed. A simple link from a well established site will get the search engines to visit the new site and begin to spider its contents. It can take a few days to even weeks from the referring of a link from such an established site for all the main search engine spiders to commence visiting and indexing the new site. If you are unable to research and choose keywords and work on your own search engine ranking, you may want to hire someone to work with you on these issues. Search engine marketing and promotion companies, will look at the plan for your site and make recommendations to increase your search engine ranking and website traffic. If you wish, they will also provide ongoing consultation and reporting to monitor your website and make recommendations for editing and improvements to keep your site traffic flow and your search engine ranking high. Normally your search engine optimization experts work with your web designer to build an integrated plan right away so that all aspects of design are considered at the same time.

1) You will get what you pay for, and since you are looking for paying nothing, pretty much expect the same. 2) A great place to start for a lot of free resources is www.seomoz.org. A great book that your library might have is the Search Engine Optimization Bible. It will walk you step by step through what you need to do. 3) You need to work on #2 which will give you your Keywords, from there you can see what domains are available with those keywords. I really find this a bizarre request from someone that offers SEO but I will give you a few tips on how to improve your SEO. - Title Tag is ok but could be more relevant to your web page. - URL will bring you a lot of problems. It's long and has a lot of dashes. It should be simplified. - No Inbound Links. - Image Alt Text should be optimized. - Not indexed by Google. Missing Sitemap. - You need to add a 301 redirect for http://raleigh-web-design.esourcenc.com/ to http://www.raleigh-web-design.esourcenc.com/. - You have many errors in your HTML. Check out http://validator.w3.org to help you fix them. - It appears you're focusing on Raleigh/Greensboro. You should Geo-tag your site. Google ignores geo-tags but Bing does use them. -Try to get a listing in dmoz.org or pay the $ 299 for dir.yahoo.com. Search Engine Optimization an hour a day is a decent book and will help you in your SEO journey. Good luck on your endeavors!

The luxury of a library to house your precious books in a systematic, uncluttered and visually pleasing display is one of the perquisites of living in a large mansion, a grand villa or a magnificent chateau. However, the books would be unable to create the ambience of a quiet, restful room unaided. You will need appropriate chateau furniture, well designed and executed in superb wood and upholstery for that aura of silent dignity.
Ideally, you would want to select a secluded room, away from the chatter and bustle of family rooms and guest rooms. Perhaps one with large French windows that opens out onto the rear flower garden or orchard, with a good amount of natural light streaming in. In one section of the room, you could line two facing walls with book cases constructed out of solid mahogany, to display an array of hard cover 1st edition books â" books on travel, philosophy, history and art, which you might have collected over the years and preserved lovingly.
A large fireplace with an alabaster topped mantelpiece and wrought iron grille would set an appropriately distinguished ambience. Place two comfortably deep club chairs, in dark leather upholstery, at angles to the fireplace. Between the chairs, place a long, low-slung console table in burnished mahogany, with curved legs, a carved apron and a polished alabaster top to match the mantel shelf. The console table would be a perfect place to display an heirloom pewter vase that you cherish, a small bowl of geranium or a couple of scented candles, as accessories to your fine chateau furniture.
The position of the console table would also serve to divide the reading area into two. The far section, closer to the French windows, could be furnished in intricately hand carved chateau furniture with perhaps a couple of upright chairs with wide fiddle splats and carved knuckle arm ends, the seats upholstered in silk. Accompanying them you might like to have a few well cushioned arm chairs upholstered in satin, with contrast colored cushions. Place an oriental rug, perhaps in warm autumn hues, on the floor, upon which you could stand a coffee table for your decanters of cognac, box of cigars and crystal brandy goblets. Your guests could be ushered into the library after a good meal, for a snifter of cognac or a demitasse of rich Columbian coffee.
The wall adjacent to the French windows could be adorned with renaissance paintings framed in ornately carved rosewood. Place focus lamps, strategically, to highlight the paintings. Below the paintings, against the wall, you might like to place a glass enclosed cabinet to contain your older, more fragile books in one section, and a collection of memorabilia from days gone by on the other shelves. Above your well selected chateau furniture, suspend your piece de resistance â" a crystal chandelier to shed a warm glow of light in the evenings.
